00:45So for the first time he said to me that I am thanking you and I am also thanking Modi

00:52ji that he implemented One Rank One Pension.

00:56So I felt very good.

00:57I used to work as a MLA.

01:00Brothers and sisters, the soldiers of One Rank One Pension were not only financially

01:08strengthened, but their self-respect was also protected.

01:12Because for 40 years, all our soldiers were fighting.

01:18As a soldier's son, I have also seen these problems up close.

01:28The challenges they face, the problems of their families.

01:32In what way, I mean, here I want to say and I am thinking that I should not say.

01:42Because I have seen many times, for example, in distant valleys of Siachen, in Ladakh,

01:50in Kashmir, in the snow-covered peaks, there is a conflict.

01:56And in that conflict, a soldier is sacrificed there.

02:06So after that, when his mortal body is being brought home, and sometimes it takes five

02:14days and six days.

02:16It still takes, even after so much effort.

02:20At that time, the mother in that family, the wife, the brothers and sisters, the children,

02:28how do they wait?

02:33She feels that death is standing in front of her while she is alive.

02:39I have seen it very closely.

02:41Because I have come from such an environment, where in our families, around, relatives,

02:50everyone has always given priority to the army.

02:56And when a soldier comes to his home with small children, now there are a lot of facilities.

03:06If I talk about 30-40 years ago, then to deal with his father, that his father has got a

03:17two-month leave.

03:20How do those children live their lives?

03:24How do the elderly live their lives?

03:27When we were all listening to the songs here, everyone must be remembering their time.

03:36So the army works in a lot of difficulties.

03:39That is why my government and I always try that those who are going to be sacrificed

03:47for the well-being of their families, for the welfare of their families,

03:51that every possible effort should be made.

03:55Keeping this in mind, in Uttarakhand, those who are going to be sacrificed for the well-being

04:00of their families, by the state government, which used to be worth 10 lakh rupees,

04:07and 12-13 years ago, it was not even worth 10 lakh rupees.

04:14And in the Khatima region, where I was elected as a MLA for the first time,

04:21there is a very large number of soldiers.

04:26And the entire region, like Brambasar, Tanakpur, where our Rajpal Mahadev served,

04:36that region is included in that.

04:38It is a military-friendly region.

04:41So there used to be some martyrs, some Indian bodies,

04:45the condition of the family is normal for everyone.

04:49So this was not a state government arrangement.

04:53I asked this question, that in this state, this much is given, in that state, this much is given.
