00:43dear friends today 14th of January is celebrated as veteran day in our
00:49country all the people who have worn uniform meet during the first world war
00:54second world war and the four wars that the country has fought after
00:59independence our country and our soldiers have made our country proud
01:04today is a day when we bow our head to all the people who have brought the
01:11armed forces to this level and their contribution cannot be thanked enough
01:16the Honorable Prime Minister of India has also acknowledged the contribution
01:21of veterans today by a Twitter post I a veteran to myself today wish to thank
01:27each and every person who has donned uniform and who has become a model a
01:34role model for this country to be taken ahead to Amritkar thank you

01:58now pay my utmost regards and respect to all the people who have worn uniform the
02:06present state of armed forces the battles the wars the other campaigns
02:12which the country has won is because of the good practices which our predecessors
02:19the veterans have left starting from the world wars to the four wars which we
02:25have fought after independence in which our country has done exceedingly well is
02:29by virtue of these veterans and today I as a veteran pay my utmost respect to
02:36all the people for bringing up our armed forces in particular and the nation in
