00:37Sir, recently a statement came up from the former BJP MP and the BJP candidate from the

00:44Kalkaji Assembly Conspiracy about Priyanka ji.

00:47So although later he apologized for his statement and withdraws his statement.

00:54So how do you see the statement?

00:56I think, you know, speaking in a derogatory way about women is very harmful.

01:03You know, we must respect the women of our country and all over the nation,

01:07all over the world, if you may.

01:09But definitely his remarks when he was campaigning all over in Delhi.

01:14And I think when people he feels that people are not listening to him,

01:20he has to take the name of somebody from the Gandhi family,

01:23especially the BJP former ministers always do that.

01:26They always use the, you know, somebody from the Gandhi family,

01:31even if it's from Nehru ji till Rahul or even, I'm not in politics,

01:35but they use my name every time there's an election going around.

01:39And yes, he did make very degrading remarks about Priyanka, which was not in good light.

01:46And people of the nation did not like it, you know,

01:50to be using this kind of language about Priyanka.

01:53And definitely Priyanka, I know she laughed it off.

01:56She said, I don't want to have any kind of, you know, comment on this.

02:01But I as a man feel that, you know, respecting women is very important.

02:05And when you are going to be campaigning for a state election,

02:09the capital of our country,

02:10you must talk about the real issues of the state,

02:15what the people want to hear,

02:16not about talking in a incorrect way about women.

02:20You know, BJP talks about, you know, helping women, you know,

02:26safety for women, Beti Bachao, you know, all these things.

02:30These are just mere slogans.

02:32When a minister, a former minister can speak so

02:36in a derogatory way about Priyanka or any other woman, you know,

02:40it just shows that they have been given the mandate that say whatever,

02:45do whatever you have to win.

02:47And then you'll find, I think, their, his mentors,

02:50maybe the prime minister or any other senior minister will come up and,

02:55you know, will say, I do not like the statement that my minister has made

02:59or any other worker of mine has made in BJP.

03:02And I, you know, he should be apologizing.

03:05So they again try to look bigger than the other people

03:09and try and show that I will not stand for this.

03:11But you can already have a mandate in the, in their, you know, party

03:16to not use this kind of foul language or language about any other woman.

03:21And, you know, when they're campaigning,

03:23or the campaigning should be about progress,

03:26what they've done and what they can promise.

03:29And I hope that what they promise, they deliver.

03:32But, sir, how do you see the Congress party?

03:33And because this is a Delhi assembly election,

03:36for the last 10 years, Congress party is out of power.

03:39They have not been able to contest a bonus, win a second seat.

03:42But this time the Congress party is saying that we are

03:47campaigning and coming with a full majority.

03:51Today, Rahul Gandhi will be also addressing a rally in Delhi,

03:54Sri Lankan area.

03:55So what are the aspects you are seeing,

03:57especially when we are saying when the CAG report has just come up on the liquor scam,

04:01saying that there has been a loss of 2000 crore,

04:05almost 2000 crore of the extractors of Delhi,

04:07and it has benefited the Aam Aadmi Party leaders,

04:10or the court has also taken a cognizance of it.

04:13How do you see this?

04:14I feel that, again, I will reiterate that we must campaign and talk about

04:20what is really required in the city, in the capital of our country.

04:24Not only our nation, the people of our nation are looking at the capital,

04:28what happens in the capital,

04:29the whole world looks at what is happening in the capital.

04:32Our main issue is the AQI just keeps on increasing.

04:36You know, so I mean, we are living in a gas chamber.

04:39And by not taking responsibility and keep on shifting,

04:43the blame game goes on.

04:45The citizens of Delhi are really suffering.

04:48So I really feel very strongly about that because I used to be running,

04:52cycling and doing all kinds of activities outdoors,

04:55but I stopped doing that.

04:56And I always tell people not to do that.

04:58My children and everybody.
