सीसीएल के सीएमडी गिरिडीह कोलियरी पहुंचे. यहां कोलियरी की बेहतरी को लेकर मंथन किया.

00:00In my visit to Girdhi, I came to see two things.

00:05What is the future of Girdhi?

00:07How will the future of Girdhi be for Girdhi?

00:10Because the type of Kabaribad mine that is going on now,

00:153.6 million tonnes of mineable reserve was left.

00:20This year, 0.6 million will be removed from it.

00:23The target will be fulfilled.

00:25Then only 3 million will remain.

00:27If it continues at this rate, the Kabaribad mine will be exhausted in 5 years.

00:33So there is a need for such an old and reputed installation of CCL.

00:40And this Girdhi area, which has been the headquarters of CCL for a long time,

00:45how to continue it further, there were discussions on it.

00:49Very soon, there is a Girdhi opencast mine,

00:53which you will see reopening in 3-4 months.

00:57A lot of work has been done on it.

01:00Now there are some other statutory permissions that have to be taken.

01:04That will also come very soon.

01:06And I hope that the good team that is here,

01:09and the way Mr. Chaudhary has led this team,

01:14this team will definitely achieve its production target of 1.3 million tonnes from 0.6 million this year.

01:25And all the people, all my officers are very motivated here.

01:30In spite of working in such difficult circumstances,

01:34despite working in such a difficult environment,

01:38this area, among all the 14 areas,

01:41has been the very first area in every mine, as per performance.

01:45As far as diversity is concerned,

01:48the discussions on the plantation that were taking place,

01:51they said that so many plantations have been done in Girdhi,

01:55that it will take you 8 hours to go around.

01:59I am very happy.

02:01And I would like to see the plantation site when I come in the next visit.

02:06Because on the environment, Coal India as a whole,

02:09and CCL specifically, is very much focused.

02:12As far as solar power is concerned,

02:16they have already installed a 4 megawatt solar power plant and have operationalized it.

02:22Discussions have just taken place.

02:24It has to be inaugurated very soon.

02:28If a minister or a guest from Delhi comes here, I will try.

02:35I will try to inaugurate it here.

02:38Which is a means of energy generation by today's clean technology.

02:45I am going back to the Ranchi headquarters with the thought that the coming time will be very pleasant for Girdhi.

02:53And I wish them that the way they have learned this area with their hard work and dedication,

03:01the coming time will be even brighter.

03:04And a very happy thing was told to me that if next year this Girdhi area does 1.3 million tons,

03:11then for the first time Girdhi area will come in profit after a long time.
