00:00The government is also involved in a clean-up program

00:05with the authorities and several organizations under General Trias Cavite.

00:10This is an important step for nature and for the Lord.

00:16This is Isaiah Mirafuertes' report.

00:21In the past, throwing garbage will make a paradise.

00:24That is what the Philippine Army and Philippine Navy are helping to do

00:28together with the group Akbay Kalikasan and Cavite Varsitarian.

00:32Today, under General Trias Cavite,

00:35the government forces are involved in a clean-up program

00:38with the group Akbay Kalikasan and Cavite Varsitarian.

00:42They cleaned up a big vacant lot that was just filled with garbage

00:46and some broken items.

00:48Aside from cleaning, they also planted trees.

00:52We saw recently what happened in LA and some other parts of the world.

00:58You know, it is rooted in the right care for the environment.

01:03So, we don't want the Philippines to reach that state.

01:08We know that the Philippines is rich in land and natural resources.

01:13So, let's take care of this.

01:15The government forces did not fall behind.

01:18Despite their big campaign for the security of the country,

01:21they are united in cleaning, planting and building a new and bright community.

01:29The Philippine Navy is joining these initiatives of our NGO

01:34because we believe that we should not only defend our borders, right?

01:41We also have a responsibility to our environment,

01:46especially in mitigating the effects of global warming.

01:52They believe that nature has a great impact on people's lives.

01:57And this is also a gift from God for our people.

02:00Nature is also what we support to live.

02:06Because without nature, we will not be able to breathe fresh air.

02:11So, it is not just about being a reservist.

02:15Every person should have a responsibility to help preserve our nature.

02:22They say that the time has come when all the people will help each other for the sake of nature.

02:29Because the creation of nature is also the creation of the Philippines.
