00:00Uh, are the lights going to be a little bright for Justin Herbert?

00:02At the end of the day, Justin Herbert often will get, kind of, they try and sneak him

00:08into the Mahomes, Allen, Burrow, Lamar range.

00:17in NFL postseason history, against the Jacksonville Jaguars, which isn't great.

00:24Donny, what are you expecting from Justin Herbert in this game?

00:27I'm expecting exactly what I get in the regular season, because I love the way he's being

00:31coached on that offense, not being asked to do too much.

00:33Think about this.

00:34Like, Justin Herbert, what's his M.O. when he comes into the league?

00:37Elite arm talent?

00:38You better drop him back 45 times and have him air it out, because that's the future

00:42of this Chargers team.

00:43Harbaugh comes in and goes, yeah, I got elite arm talent.

00:46Kid's actually a really good athlete in the pocket.

00:47Let's keep a measure here.

00:48We're going to have to turn the football over, make the throws he needs to, we'll play good

00:51defense and we'll run the football.

00:52And watch this, Justin, you'll win more football games than you ever thought you would.

00:56So I'm not expecting today, like we talk about Lamar Jackson, give me 40 drop back passes.

01:01Just do what you have been doing, because it's been success when it's gotten here.

01:05If you don't turn the football over, Joe, it's hard to beat you.

01:10Has to be clean with the football, especially on the road, right?

01:13When you win the turnover battle and run the football effectively, you're going to be within

01:16more times than not within margin and even pick up the victory.

01:20So we'll see how they, you know, utilize his arm talent tonight.

01:23Are they aggressive early on to build a lead and then run the football later in this matchup?

01:28Or do they go back to their philosophy earlier in the year where they were more of a run

01:32heavy offense and then utilize short to intermediate throws, worked off a play action?

01:37The reason why I bring that up is because you look at Houston's defense throughout the

01:41course of the regular season, they've had ups, they've had downs, but at home they've

01:45been very effective.

01:46Look at the games that they, they played elite quarterback talent.

01:49They contain Josh Allen to nine of 30 in terms of that dominating victory, right?

01:54They contain Jared Goff.

01:55What did he have?

01:56Five, five interceptions, even though they won that game 26, 23, Houston did cover that

02:02matchup catching three and a half, but they did force a five interceptions.

02:06And then they contain two in the Miami offense to only 12 points.

02:10So that is the matchup tonight.

02:11I'd be concerned if I'm LA to just start throwing the football all over the yard against that

02:17secondary.

02:18I do believe D'Amico Ryan's dials up some unique secondary looks for Justin Herbert.

02:23Maybe forces him to check that you have to take away lad McConkie.

02:27That is the number one option for Justin Herbert force underneath throws to Disley and maybe

02:32even the running backs.

02:34Because again, to Donnie's point, Quinn Johnson, those wide receivers are banged up.

02:38You have DJ Chalk in there as well.

02:40Not a lot of experience.

02:42So we'll see how this game plays out, but I still give the edge to Houston.

02:45One of the underrated things for Justin Herbert, this season, a number, honestly, I did not

02:49realize until yesterday, just three interceptions this year.

02:54Yes.

02:55I mean, that's how it is and out and I know Lamar has four and like 20 more touchdowns,

03:00but I'm just like reinterceptions is an incredible number for Justin Herbert goes up against

03:08the secondary second to most interceptions on this season.

03:13The ball honking, Minnesota Vikings.

03:15I think that becomes a really interesting part of the game.

03:18Not just can we turn them over?

03:20But I do think if you are someone who's not accustomed to turning the football over as

03:24Justin Herbert isn't, could that get a little, ah, man, I'm in a postseason now and turn

03:29this thing over.

03:30You got to be kidding me on the Stroud side of it.

03:32I do like him over one and a half passing touchdowns plus 154 is a heck of a price for

03:38Stroud at home in a postseason game.

03:41You take a look at the quarterbacks, six of the last eight that have gone up against

03:45the Chargers have had multiple passing touchdowns.

03:48So I think that is, and that's where a lot of the touchdowns have come against LA this

03:53season.

03:54Similar story, by the way, for Houston, a lot of their touchdowns are through the air

03:57as opposed to the ground, which is why it backed off from like a mix and number in terms

04:02of any time touchdown price.

04:04Even if I think he could score quickly, a skill position player, anybody that you're

04:07targeting for me, it's Nico huge day, 83 and a half.

04:10I altered them to a hundred plus.

04:12I think he can score any time touchdown plus one 45 again.

04:16I need CJ.

04:17If you're back in Houston, you need CJ Stroud in the area of two and a quarter to 50 today.

04:22I want to push tempo.

04:23I want to jump up at home.

04:25I need to know that CJ Stroud's in the rhythm early.

04:28Yeah, I believe that's obviously going to try to take away Nico up top.

04:31Then you can look at maybe Mechie B say, Ooh, he has a shoulder injury, finally got in a

04:34full practice late in the week, but I'm going to go Deontay Johnson.

04:36He doesn't need a lot of numbers today.

04:39Position for two to three targets should put them over his now 15 and a half.
