00:00On the basis of the technical and electronic evidence provided at the time of the incident,
00:13along with the security forces, the Baramulla police started an investigation.
00:24Investigation file no. 1, 2025, which is 109 BNS and 16 section 23 of the Unlawful Activities Act,
00:36which was the registered case, was started.
00:41On the basis of this analysis and the efforts of the multiple teams that were involved in this investigation,
00:49the investigation was successful and the case was solved within 24 hours.
00:57Three individuals were arrested.
01:02One hand grenade, one AK-series rifle, one pistol, 256 AK-rifle rounds and 21 pistol rounds were recovered.

01:26Because it is expected that the ongoing investigation of this case will have an impact.
01:31More arrests and more recoveries are expected.
01:36In this regard, we understand that one of the arrested individuals is a surrendered, released terrorist.
01:54The second person is the son of another surrendered, released terrorist.
02:00And the third individual, who seems to be his mastermind,
02:05has been trying to escape from his arrest in a narco-terror case for the past two years.
02:15He was leaving his area and was living somewhere else.
02:21This incident shows us the involvement of the released terrorists and their families.
02:34These are the efforts of the surrendered terrorists to reintegrate their families into the mainstream.
02:42They act as a dent in this process.
02:47And our efforts to build trust with them create such problems.
02:58The Baramulla Police requests and warns the released surrendered terrorists and their families
03:08that they should not indulge or engage in any terrorist activities.
03:17If they do so, the legal proceedings against them will be brought to Baramulla.
03:26Along with that, it will affect our trust-building measures.
03:33We want to assure the people of Baramulla that the Baramulla Police and the security forces
03:40will continue their efforts to maintain peace in the district.
03:46We would like to thank the district police of Sopore, the district police of Balipur,
03:52the 52 National Rifles and the other security forces
03:56for their cooperation and support.
