00:24Retore his Achilles now. I have actually never seen that before

00:28I've never seen like a guy tears his Achilles and in the midst of the rehab like, you know

00:36He's literally what two three months out of tearing his Achilles and it's torn again

00:42How many times have you seen this as a surgeon? You've obviously seen it before

00:47I don't remember ever seeing a guy tear it like whoever it was Kobe whoever that tore it and then it

00:52Retore and he had to start over that sounds to me like he's finished

00:58Well, you know, I have seen it tear again, of course, none of my patients right now

01:04But actually not your patients your patients are all perfect

01:09Part of that is this is why I want my patients to wear a boot for at least the first three months and apparently

01:16Yeah, he's about two and a half months. I guess he was in Miami

01:19He turned his ankle and they discovered it on exit physicals

01:23I always say the busiest day of the year for a team doctor is the day after the season is over and so he flew

01:29In for an exit physical and we talked about it on our podcast. That's probably how they discovered it

01:35He probably was out of his boot. I'm not saying he did anything wrong

01:38I'm just saying, you know, it is also a hazard of pushing through rehab hard and early

01:44Aaron Rodgers last year did it did not have a retear and came close to returning to play

01:50But you know, I always say NFL sports medicine is driving an IndyCar

01:55Everyone can go fast on the straightaway. Everyone can slow down to get through the turn

01:59It's when you know that the turn is coming to slow down or when the turn is ending to speed up

02:05that's the trick of it all and

02:08There's only one piece of good news on all first of all

02:11I don't think from a physical standpoint to Sean Watson's careers over from a

02:17practical standpoint in indeed

02:19maybe if you add up all the mistime in Houston really hasn't finished the season in Cleveland and and and now a

02:26Second Achilles now essentially gonna miss all next year from a practical standpoint

02:31He probably is because who's really gonna give him a starting job anymore going forward and will he be a backup?

02:38I mean and make backup money. He's has made a lot of money

02:41the only silver lining for the Browns here is

02:44They're likely able to cash in now on their 40 plus million dollar insurance

02:50Policy if he doesn't play a snap next season

02:55Doesn't help their salary cap, but it helps the pocketbook of Jimmy Haslam

03:06So the guy retears it now, what do they do?

03:09They they is it the original fix and he's back to ground zero day one and he needs 12 months

03:16How does it work when there's a retear?

03:19Well, hopefully it's just the original fix. Hopefully they don't need additional grafting, but there's no doubt

03:26they're going to go slower on the rehab and as it is an

03:31Achilles primary tear now this late in the season is a tough return for next season

03:36They're gonna slow that process down and apparently it's going to be done by the same surgeon that did the first one

03:46How is hurts coming off this concussion

03:50You know, we've been saying for the longest time hurts don't worry about him

03:54He'll clear the concussion protocol. The Eagles are just playing it cautious

03:58So he didn't get a second one and miss all of the playoffs. He's full go. He's clear

04:03Yes, you can argue about Russ, but let me tell you something all along

04:07I have I knew that both Jalen hurts and Jordan love would play against each other and start the game in Philly

04:15However, I have more worry medically about Jordan love than Jalen hurts

04:20I was never worried about his concussion Jordan loves gonna play

04:24But when you have a funny bone ulnar nerve issue if it slightly affects his grip still and I know he's gonna play

04:31That might affect his accuracy on downfield throws. So we'll have to see. Yes, Jordan loves been full practice

04:39Yes, they're both gonna play but I have more worry on Jordan love than Jordan than Jalen hurts

04:44Well, they have other problems too, don't they two Packers they've lost Watson what else

04:50Well, Quay Walker seems to be playing and that's gonna be a key to stop Saquon Barkley

04:55But this is only his third week off a high ankle sprain and I think he's less than a hundred percent

05:00So that may be somewhere where the Eagles can take advantage. The Eagles, of course are well rested

05:06more so than Green Bay

05:09Yeah, I mean that the stars are aligning that Green Bay's had a great season but no no Jair Alexander their top corner

05:21Less than a hundred percent. I mean, that's some key best players in their positions that are gonna be out or not

05:30Who the most healthy who's the least healthy of all these wild cards this weekend?

05:36That's interesting the most healthy team actually the two most healthy teams play each other it's

05:44Buffalo against Denver, they're both pretty healthy Denver's been pretty healthy all season long and

05:51The teams with the least healthy matchup is probably against each other

05:56Houston hosting the Chargers the big other key is

06:02Tampa gets a lot healthier get they were down three of their top four

06:07secondary players now, they're getting two of them back and Jamel Dean and

06:13Whitehead so those are the Winfield so that those are they're gonna get their key safety back in the key corner

06:22Will Dobbins and Johnston be able to go for the Chargers? They're gonna be good

06:26Dobbins is gonna go. I don't know that he's a hundred percent Johnson should be able to go Denzel

06:31Paramon's gonna try and go look everyone tries to go. It's the playoffs, right, but I don't know that

06:37Paramon's gonna be 100% there and so forth and after the by Montgomery's gonna try and go

06:45How healthy will the Chiefs and Lions be having an extra week?

06:50Well, you know the Chiefs will be healthy and rested they're heading in the right direction

06:55Detroit's getting a little bit healthier, but their defense is still

06:59Decimated Aaron Glenn deserves a medal for doing it with mirrors there
