Timothée Chalamet is set to appear on an upcoming episode of 'Saturday Night Live' as both the host and musical guest, making him the first non-professional singer in 30 years to do so.

00:29The most recent example being 30 years ago with Deion Sanders on February 18,

00:331995. The other non-pro singers to both host and perform on SNL as the musical guest include Lily

00:40Tomlin, Desi Arnaz and Gary Busey. Chalamet will be added to that list on Saturday, January 25.

00:47The star of the Bob Dylan drama A Complete Unknown is known to be a huge fan of rap music,

00:52but presumably he'll limit his musical contributions to a few Dylan covers,

00:56perhaps Blown in the Wind or Like a Rolling Stone.

00:59The timing couldn't be much better for Chalamet, who is vying to become, at age 29,

01:03the youngest Best Actor Oscar winner in history. Oscar nominations will have been announced on

01:08January 17, and the final round of Oscar voting won't begin until February 11.
