Many residents unexperienced with wildfires

00:04No, I've not experienced any kind of anger.

00:08It's more of just, this is terrifying.

00:10What can we do to help each other?

00:12And what do I need to do?

00:13Where do I need to go?

00:14And you've got to keep in mind, there's a large population of people in LA and LA County

00:19who aren't native Californians.

00:21So I'm a native Californian.

00:22I grew up in Northern California.

00:23I have been seeing and experiencing wildfires for the past 15 years.

00:28But a lot of folks are brand new to LA and they are not privy to wildfires.

00:33And so a lot of them don't know how serious to take it, or they don't understand how fast

00:37a wildfire can move in these dry conditions.
