00:07who is a big fan of India and continues to be a big proponent and well-wisher of India.
00:14He used to go around the world to all the European countries to tell them,
00:18why can't you do what India, a developing nation, could do in such a short span of time.
00:26I'm sharing this with you only to tell you, business and opportunities await you.
00:33We have to think innovatively. Of course, we need to do R&D.
00:37Of course, we need innovation. Of course, we need to invest in manufacturing.
00:42I'm happy that they've launched Bharat Cleantech manufacturing platform.
00:47Brilliant opportunity to collaborate, to co-innovate, to work in cooperation with newer and better ideas,
00:58provide a platform for financing, provide a platform to share resources, to share technologies, to share ideas.
01:09But all of that will help make India a compulsive and attractive business case,
01:17will help India become a global leader when it comes to sustainability and cleantech,
01:24will help India become a pioneer in modern technologies for renewable sources of energy.
01:35And I don't think we should be pitching for becoming dependent on the government.
01:46Every sector in India which remained independent of government has succeeded.
01:54Look at the IT sector and its success story and look at where they are today
02:01and the great rapid strides across the world that have been done.
02:05Short-term support, understandable.
02:08Long-term, get out of the clutches, get independent, look at scale,
02:16look at the talent and skill that India brings to the table,
02:20look at the trust that the world has in India, in India's decisive leadership,
02:27look at the world looking upon India as a powerhouse of talent, skills,
02:35our young demography, the under-30, 28, 29-year-old average population,
02:42two-third of whom are in the working age, expected to remain young for the next 30 years.
02:48A democracy, a vibrant democracy that provides the rule of law,
02:54where there is recourse, you cannot be discriminated against,
02:58equal opportunity for all, the diversity that India offers
03:03with different types of possibilities in different parts of the country,
03:09you have Tamil Nadu, Gujarat offering wind in a big way,
03:13you have Rajasthan, Maharashtra, Gujarat, Andhra, Telangana offering solar in a big way,
03:21not to say that other parts don't offer it, you have the world's largest interconnected grid,
03:29no other part of the world has a national grid as big as India, it's a big strength.
03:36Another thing that comes to mind, I'm sorry too much of history today,
03:41but I remember one of the first decisions Mr. Modi took was to integrate all our regional grids,
03:48because he recognized intermittent power cannot be fed into regional grids equitably,
03:55and he would have had a problem in taking such large volumes of wind or solar energy.
04:18What is your view on entire controversy of L&T chairman and his 90-hour work-life balance?
04:31Yeah, I think, first I will say a little, it has been maybe taken a little out of context,
04:38maybe he wanted to suggest that he would want people to work more,
04:43but I think that has been extended, that he would want people to work on weekends,
04:48I don't know why he mentioned about wife and all,
04:51but I think in our personal capacity, what I have seen at Mudrex,
04:57we have been really successful with a five-year plan.
