00:00Iloilo Airport is the model of Legazpi City LGU in building a business district at Old Legazpi Airport.

00:08Its goal is to attract businessmen and to move forward in the city.

00:19This is the former Legazpi Airport that was planned to be the business district of the local government of Legazpi City in the coming years.

00:27Mayor Alfredo Garbin announced this where he detailed the plans for the continued development of the city

00:35by attracting businessmen and to move forward.

00:40We are planning to convert the old airport into another commercial area.

00:46Right now we are in talks with the Department of National Defense and the Department of Transportation and Buildings

00:54and to convert that item property into a more useful and economic use for our city.

01:03Iloilo Airport is the inspiration of the local government for the planned business district

01:10to attract large businesses, many jobs, and infrastructure such as hotels, convention centers, and malls.

01:19Aside from the business district, Phase 1 of the Bicol International Sports Stadium with 25,000 seating capacity has also started.

01:28Here at Old Legazpi Airport, Mayor Garbin is planning to build a new city hall.

01:35Legazpi City LGU will ask for help from the national government for the fund.

01:41When the plan is completed, it will attract thousands of jobs in the city

01:45and will also be a stepping stone for the continued development of Legazpi City.
