tWitch's widow Allison Holker says she has a good reason for blabbing to the media about his alleged drug problem ... she says she's just trying to help others.

00:00Two years after Steven Twitch Boss died by suicide,

00:05his widow, Alison Holker, is now defending herself

00:07from the backlash she's getting

00:09for revealing intimate details about Twitch's life.

00:12So she's writing a book

00:14and she did an interview regarding the book

00:16and talked about his alleged drug use

00:18and everything that happened leading up to his suicide.

00:21There was a lot of things I discovered in our closet

00:23that I did not know existed.

00:25And he was hiding so much

00:26and there must have been a lot of shame in that.

00:27And on top of talking about the drugs she found,

00:30Alison also included very private passages

00:33from Twitch's personal journals in her book,

00:35which enraged his friends and family.

00:38She got tons of hate from all of his family,

00:41their mutual friends.

00:42Like Twitch's cousin who tweeted,

00:44you did our family so dirty.

00:47Plus.

00:48To attend the funeral, you had to sign an NDA,

00:50including his entire family.

00:51I've never seen an NDA at a funeral ever.

00:53Why the NDA?

00:54Because she doesn't want someone else

00:56to control the narrative in a negative way.

00:57She wants to control it.

00:59In a negative way?

01:00She doesn't think she's being negative.

01:01She thinks she's being sensitive.

01:02Right, because she's responding to all the hate by saying,

01:05I hope that by sharing our full story,

01:07maybe I can help someone else

01:08who might see themselves or a loved one in Steven.

01:11Yeah, she says, all of my proceeds from this book

01:13are going to fund the mental health focused foundation

01:15I started in Steven's honor.

01:17She said it after the fact,

01:18after she was getting all the backlash.

01:20Just because she said it after the fact

01:21doesn't mean she didn't plan to give it to charity

01:23before the fact.

01:24Because you would have said that in the article

01:25Yeah, like when you did your in-depth with people,

01:27you might've mentioned it.
