00:00Today in India, there are 9 GST slabs available.

00:05If you start from zero and take it up to 28% plus SES,

00:10then there are 9 tax slabs available for GST.

00:14When GST was being discussed and the Congress Party was never against it,

00:19but there should be a practical way to implement it,

00:22which was imagined as a net neutral revenue rate,

00:27that is, the tax that the government is getting,

00:30the income tax that the government is getting,

00:32for which we have to work for the common people,

00:34how much income tax is being obtained through excise and VAT sales tax?

00:41And if we bring new arrangements,

00:44then what tax will be there that will maintain the income tax of the government?

00:50And that was about 14-15%.

00:54Along with that, this arrangement was made

00:56that the states, I think Madhya Pradesh will also be one of them,

00:59Chhattisgarh is one of them,

01:01which are not states that enjoy,

01:04GST is a tax on enjoyment,

01:07not on manufacturing,

01:09it is a tax on enjoyment.

01:11And the states that make more,

01:16where manufacturing is more,

01:18and comparatively less enjoyment,

01:22those states continued to suffer losses due to the structure of GST,

01:28and an arrangement was made in this,

01:3214% protected revenue increase,

01:36that is, every year,

01:38every state in the country,

01:41which gets income from these sources,

01:43that is, through excise and VAT,

01:49every year, at least 14% increase was made,

01:54and if it is not achieved,

01:57then the cesspool that was made in the GST Council,

02:02which seems to be cess on some things of enjoyment,

02:05that cesspool will be given to those states,

02:08today that too is over,

02:09that too has been banned.

02:11Many states have asked,

02:13which are not consumer-oriented states,

02:16like Uttar Pradesh and Bihar,

02:18they enjoy in large quantities,

02:20they produce comparatively less,

02:23they had,

02:25in Rajasthan,

02:26VAT, etc.,

02:27were comparatively less,

02:29in Madhya Pradesh, for example,

02:31and in Chhattisgarh,

02:32were comparatively more,

02:33so these states continued to suffer losses,

02:35which are not being fulfilled anywhere today.

02:39So, in the midst of these arrangements,

02:43we heard another new thing,

02:47where there should be,

02:49a rationalised and integrated tax slab,

02:52instead of 9,

02:53maximum 2 or 3,

02:55maximum,

02:56in the world,

02:57in many countries,

02:58there are no such tax slabs,

03:00and by not doing that,

03:02now what we are seeing,

03:03that on one thing,

03:05by doing 3-3,

03:07popcorn,

03:08recently everyone thought of popcorn,

03:11before that,

03:12maybe it was not even discussed,

03:13when we went to a cinema hall,

03:14or somewhere else,

03:15we took it,

03:16now 5%, 12%, 18%,

03:19on one thing,

03:20our citizens,

03:22are compelled to pay tax.

03:25In the midst of such predictions,

03:27we have come to you,

03:30to tell you that,

03:34the central government,

03:35and governments,

03:39without,

03:40loopholes,

03:42in tax collection,

03:44instead of stopping,

03:47the thefts,

03:49of taxes,

03:51by increasing taxes,

03:53on the general public,

03:54and adopting the,

03:55way of collecting taxes,

03:57we need taxes,

03:59every state needs it,

04:00the central government also needs it,

04:02that is why,

04:03the progress in the country,

04:04which we call,

04:05the scales of development,

04:07we will get,

04:08whether it is road,

04:09electricity,

04:10schools,

04:11or health,

04:13and when it comes to health,

04:15in an area like health,

04:18on insurance,

04:19at present,

04:20there is a GST of 18%,

04:24if you take insurance,

04:26if you have taken insurance,

04:30then you are compelled,

04:32to ensure the protection,
