00:00I just met an old lady who told me about the reason for coming to India.
00:11I just met the representatives of Oman and came out.
00:15She was very excited. She said that 47 years ago,
00:20as a student, I was here in Uttar Pradesh University at Bhubaneswar.
00:24As a student of Applied Economics, Agricultural Economics,
00:29I never thought someday I will come to Odisha.
00:33But this Pravasi Bharatiya Divas gives us the opportunity
00:37to come to Bhubaneswar again.
00:40I am very much thrilled and very happy to be at Bhubaneswar.
00:46This is the main purpose of Pravasi Bharatiya Divas.
00:49To remember, to visit again, to cherish the glorious moment
00:55with the country they have, the experience they have.
00:59So I am thankful to Prime Minister Modi
01:02and External Affairs Minister Mr. Jai Shankar
01:05for giving us opportunity to organize this program.
01:08And I must congratulate and compliment Odisha Government
01:12and its Chief Minister Sri Mohan Majhi
01:14to organize this program very successfully.
