More women will break through top hundred in 2025, Ash Barty predicts

00:00What do you think we can do in terms of results here at the AO in 2025?

00:05Yeah, a fantastic year in 2024.

00:07I think we've got, what, 10 men now inside the top 100.

00:10We've got so many girls kind of in that bracket between 100 and 200 in the world.

00:14I really think this year we will have a few more of those girls break through into the top 100.

00:18So it's set to be an exciting year and, fingers crossed,

00:21there can be a few of the Aussies that really start off well during the Australian summer.

00:24We've been seeing some good results already in the last couple of weeks,

00:27but no doubt all of the Aussies will be eyeing off this Australian Open and hoping to go deep.
