00:21the accused Safruddin Rahimuddin Khan will make his daughter a police inspector in the IT department in the Income Tax Department.

00:33Due to his greed, from 2021 till now, the accused has taken around 15 lakh rupees from him.

00:44When he came to know that this is a fake case and there is no truth in it, he came to the police station and filed a complaint against him.

00:53After filing the complaint, our Crime Branch team, P.I. Raik, P.I. Rajsar and his officers and his entire team were doing the investigation.

01:05In the investigation, we got to know about the accused, his name is Rinku Sharma, who lives in Taloja, in Jaunpur.

01:15Yesterday, we arrested him and brought him to the court.

01:23We have received a 5-day police custody.

01:26According to the preliminary information, he is not the only victim.

01:34He has given jobs to around 40 victims in various positions, such as Assistant Commissioner in Income Tax, Police Inspector in Income Tax.

01:47He has taken around lakhs of rupees from him.

01:56I used to tell everyone that I am the Commissioner of Income Tax.

02:02He used to come in the car and make fake I-cards, logos and letterheads.

02:11He used to make fake documents for the victims.

02:16For example, he used to make an appointment letter and an I-card of Income Tax.

02:24We have got to know about 40 victims through this modus operandi.

02:31Our P.I. Raik, P.I. Rajsar and his entire team are contacting the victims with their mobile numbers.

02:38We are calling them and asking them how they were trapped and what is their complaint.

02:44They are taking their statements and proceeding with the investigation.

02:49Sir, how many victims are there in Maharashtra or in other parts of the country?

02:55Out of the 40 victims, 50% are from Vassai-Virar, some are from Mumbai and some are from other regions.
