President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. and First Lady Liza Marcos on Wednesday met with “The Voice US” grand winner Sofronio Vasquez in Malacañang.
Vasquez made history as the first Filipino and Asian to clinch the title, an achievement the President said not only made waves in the music world but also brought immense pride to the Philippines.
05:33day. A million dreams for the world we're gonna make. However big, however small. Let me be part of it all. Share your dreams with me.
05:53We may be right, we may be wrong. But still you bring me along. To the world you see. To the world I close my eyes to see. I close my eyes.
06:17I close my eyes. A million dreams are keeping me awake. I think of what the world could be. A vision of the one I see. A million dreams it's all it's gonna take.
06:41A million dreams for the world we're gonna make.
06:59A million dreams for my world it's gonna be.
07:30I will never sing again.
07:34Promise?
07:36No, never again. If I cannot learn how to sing that way, I will not sing anymore.
07:43The other comment that we watched, because we watched you, you were singing with other people. Nasa level ka na, you're so generous. Hindi ka nag-aagaw ng eksena. He's so generous.
08:05Pag kailangan mag-feel, nag-feel ka lang. Pag kailangan ikaw mag-solove, that was something. That's a real sign. It's all about the music, it's not about you. You're humble. It's not about making pasikat, it's about making the music sound good.
08:23Speaking of pasikat, he wants to make pasikat, a photo with you.
08:27That's his theme now, right?
08:29Wow, that was terrific.
08:32I know.
08:34As many pictures as you. Ako nga magpapapicture sayo. Dahil ikaw yung champion. Ang galing mo kumantaj mo.
08:45He sings so damn well.
08:49Okay, let's take pictures. Ali kayo, ali kayo.
