00:20The conference began with opening remarks by Deputy Investment, Trade and Industry Minister

00:25Lu Chin Tong.

00:28Also present were Star Media Group Burhad Group Chief Executive Officer Chan Seng Fatt,

00:33SMG Chief Content Officer Datin Paduka Esther Ng, and SMG Chief Business Officer Lydia Wong.

00:40In his speech, Liu says member nations should not see each other as competitors, but complement

00:46each other to form a regional supply chain.

00:50It is in this context that the Johor-Singapore Special Economic Zone, which was signed or

00:56agreed yesterday, has the potential of creating an exciting future and as a role model.

01:04More ASEAN-wide joint investment projects or sub-regional cooperation will help to

01:21Singh, the event was marked by discussions among an international panel of speakers on

01:34The two-day event held at Manara MITI also offers an opportunity for like-minded leaders

01:39to network and build relationship with their peers among the ASEAN member nations.
