01:29For 10 years, Dr. Manmohan Singh travelled in the same car that Vajpayee ji bought as PM.

01:37Malik Arjun Kharge is our President today.

01:41You will see simplicity.
01:42There is no excitement.
01:43There is no melancholy.
01:45He has been in politics for 55 years.
01:47For 50 years, Kharge ji has been either a minister or an LOP.
01:5150 years.
01:52But you will not find any excitement in his house.
01:54This is the Ujjala Paksh.
01:56I was with Hamid Ansari ji.
01:58As an officer and as a Joint Secretary, I stayed with him for 10 years.
02:01I saw his residence.
02:03He was driving a 15-year-old car.
02:05You have never seen any excitement in his house.
02:08So, the system of Congress was of simplicity.
02:12This new system of the Indian People's Party and the Common Man Party
02:16that you build a Shish Mahal.
02:18You build a big Prime Minister's residence.
02:20You travel in big expensive planes.
02:22You show the country the excitement of inflation.
02:25Apart from this, this country has seen a third tradition after freedom and before freedom.
02:30That is the tradition of Congress.
02:32That is the tradition of Gandhi Nehru.
02:34And we are reminding the country of that tradition.
02:36That this tradition of simplicity is our heritage.
