Extreme wildfire threat continues in Southern California as fire engulfs Los Angeles neighborhood

As evacuations keep growing due to the Palisades Fire, powerful winds mean any other fires that spark could spread just as quickly.

00:09Particularly in a Pacific Palisades and even trying to get out of this area has proved to be difficult

00:15There is kind of an arm of Pacific Palisades that extends to the northwest and it becomes very difficult to get it in and out

00:21Some of these communities very desirable places to live up with the bluffs and the mountains nearby

00:26But it's not easy to build multiple roads in and out of there

00:29So we got an issue there with fire crews trying to access while people are trying to get out and there are reports that people

00:35Have been abandoning their vehicles

00:37Because of some danger. Yeah, very hectic situation there
