00:00I have read about Guru Govind Singh's sacrifice and his family's sacrifice many times while living in Rajasthan.
00:10But today I am fortunate to come to the land and bow my head at the place where Guru Govind Singh established the Khalsa Panth in 1699.
00:25And the Panth Pyare was established from here and the five things that he had to keep, he established a separate panth from here.
00:36Like hair, bangles, bracelet, tripan and kachcha.
00:42So in reality, in one way, for the protection of religion, for the protection of culture, the kind of life he lived,
00:52and at the age of 9, he established him as the 10th Dharamguru.
00:59For the protection of the Pashmirs and Pandits, his father went to Delhi and his head was cut off with an arrow.
01:10Till date, no such incident has occurred anywhere in the world.
01:14And that family, all four children, two were killed in the war and two were thrown into the living walls.
01:22So, in one way, his mother, his wife, after the sacrifice of their children, died there.
01:30So this history, in one way, is the first example of how a family can sacrifice so much for the protection of religion.
01:40And because of that, today I too, on his birthday, got the opportunity to bow my head at the occasion of 358th Jayanti.
01:52I too have some good deeds. God has given me the opportunity to come to this place.
01:56What do you think?
01:57See, I think that this 10th Dharamguru, by reading his life, everyone feels that if we try to live life in the same way, then we can protect the country and religion.
