00:0013,348 male, 16,118 female, and two third gender electors have been enrolled.

00:11Also about 9,741 electors have been deleted from the electoral roll during the revision

00:17period.

00:19The reasons could be many, like there were some photo similar entries, demographically

00:24similar entries, at the same time some people have expired, some people have shifted.

00:29So after following the proper process, those voters have been deleted from the electoral

00:36roll.

00:39Also the total number of service electors enrolled in the final electoral rolls is 21,148

00:46with 20,131 male and 1,017 female electors.

00:52So these are the figures through our friends from the media.

00:59I would like to compliment the field functionaries, the booth level officers, our BLOs, our EROs,

01:06our AEROs, our DEOs, the officials and the staff here at the election office, and also

01:15the political parties and their booth level agents who cooperated with us during the entire

01:22process and if there were any issues or concerns, those were highlighted with us so that corrective

01:27measures if required may be taken.

01:33Also I would like to thank all the media groups that during the summary revision, you remember

01:40on the day of draft publication also I requested you all to take the message to all the people

01:46and even with disruptions in the internet during the period when we were having summary

01:53revision and now most of the applications are received online, still the number of applications

01:59that we received during this exercise was almost as much as we received during the last

02:05summary revision or the summary revision before that.

02:08So I must compliment each and every active person who cooperated with us in this regard.

02:15So this much is from our side, all these facts and figures which I have spoken and district

02:20wise numbers would be shared with you in the WhatsApp group that we have with our media

02:27channels, the newspapers, the TV channels, the blogs, the social media news, the portals

02:35and the physical copy when are we sharing? Immediately after this press conference?

02:43So, this much from our side, if there is anything that you would want to know, a specific or

02:50a general thing, you may kindly highlight, if we have the information we will share right

02:55away or we may communicate with you later on.

03:00Sir, just a formal question, but as a formality I am asking, as we know Manipur has gone through

03:10some troubled times recently and many people are being distressed, so how internally or

03:20otherwise distressed people are being taken care of while registering their election?

03:28That's a very valid question that you have asked and in fact that was the biggest challenge

03:33that we faced prior to the Lok Sabha elections last year. However, concrete steps were taken

03:41under guidance of the Election Commission of India and we ensured that all the internally

03:47displaced voters who wanted to exercise their right to franchise were given an opportunity,

03:54we set up special polling stations and we set up a special polling station at cluster

03:59level for the relief camps. So, the voters who were originally voters in the outer Manipur

04:06parliamentary constituency and they were displaced and staying in the valley area, we set up

04:12polling stations here and a similar exercise was done in the hill districts also. So much

04:18so that we set up in Tegnopal district, we set up polling station for a single displaced

04:23voter as well. So, I am glad that you asked this question, so that gives me an opportunity

04:30to see the distance that we have gone to ensure that nobody is left behind.

04:37Sir, how the new voters, newly eligible voters who are living in the relief camps, how they

04:44are being incorporated in the whole process?

04:47We have reached out to the relief camps and we have ensured that every person who is eligible

04:55and you know now this, one good thing that has happened is that there are four...
