01:36the kids studying in No. 3 school, their parents, and the residents of Kalkaji and its surroundings.

01:45Congratulations on the inauguration of this world-class, Olympic-level, shooting-range

01:52Kalkaji No. 3 School.

01:55Thank you very, very much.

02:00Before coming here today, I had seen photographs of the shooting range in the last 2-3 days.

02:08But I did not expect that this shooting range would be so world-class.

02:15And I am very happy about the fact that in our government school,

02:21and I also feel that many of our residents of this area have studied in these 2-3 government schools.

02:30And just a few days ago, someone was telling me that he studied in No. 2.

02:36And he was saying that when we were in school,

02:41it was called a tent school, the wall was broken, we used to climb the wall and go out.

02:47He was saying that the day it rained, you could not go to school.

02:52Because the school was filled with water, water was dripping from the roof,

02:57there was a seal on the wall, so if you touched the switch, there was a current.

03:02And today I think, where from that government school with the tent, dripping roof,

03:12Today, we are inaugurating a world-class Olympic-style shooting range in our Kalkaji No. 3.

03:20This is the story of Delhi's education system transformation, education revolution.

03:28If you look at sports, sports is such a thing that very few of us can give time to it and move forward.

03:39Why? Because any sport's equipment, any sport's training, any sport's coaching, any sport's facilities are very expensive.

03:52If you go to see the shooting itself, then the team was telling me some figures here,

03:59that the air rifles and air pistols are of 50,000 to 2 lakh rupees.

04:05The professional models that we have seen here, and those who have not gone inside yet,

04:10after the program, do see them once.

04:13The professional models of air rifles are more than 3 lakh rupees.

04:18The ammunition comes in a tin of 2,000 rupees.

04:23The shooting jackets, gloves, eyewear, their scopes, tripods, these come for 1 lakh to 1.5 lakh rupees.

04:32So, when there is so much expenditure in a sport, and another important thing is that

04:39the facilities of this level are often available only in private shooting ranges.

04:46So, if a child or a youngster living in our city wants to even think about shooting,

04:56then a child from an ordinary family or a middle-class family...
