00:00Welcome back to TMZ live. Joe Budden has got a criminal case that involves nudity.
00:08He was at his apartment building earlier this month and somehow walked out of his unit and was
00:16naked and walked to a neighbor's door, knocked on it. It was a woman who has kids in there.
00:24She called the cops. So Joe Budden has a defense to this that he talked about on a podcast.
00:32I just slept walk somewhere that I shouldn't have slept walk. And you know, I sleep.
00:36Yeah. Oh, my God.
00:42Nice naked ass. Good naked sleepwalking.
00:47Just did it again. Nobody can go through this stuff with me. It's only me. It's only me.
00:53So you got to deal with everything. You got to deal with what comes with that.
01:01OK, so here's my question to you. You're a lawyer. He said he was sleepwalking.
01:05There was no intention to go out naked. Good defense or not?
01:08Oh, absolutely. Good defense. But you better have some history of sleepwalking before.
01:13But if you do, if you do, it seems to me you don't have the intent to go out and
01:19and create kind of a loo. At worst, it would be negligence because you should be able to put
01:24things on the door to stop you from sleepwalking outside. But that would be a very small crime.
01:29I mean, you wouldn't that would be a largely a defense other than negligence.
01:32But, you know, it's sort of like ambient where sometimes people do. I mean, I ended up
01:41I ended up on the floor and my dogs were eating rice off my chest.
01:45I have no idea about this. I had spaghetti all over me when I woke up on ambience. So I
01:51yes. OK, but I don't I sleep naked and I definitely do not walk into the hall.
