00:00Do you remember your first scene?

00:02First scene was just a job scene.

00:04Do you remember your first paycheck?

00:06A hundred dollars.

00:08Oh, I take that for first paycheck.

00:09That's what I was like.

00:10I would do it for free.

00:11So I'll take a hundred dollars.

00:13I went to four hundred dollars.

00:14And then about every three months,

00:16he would raise it a hundred dollars.

00:18So I eventually, once that contract was up,

00:20I was making $800 a scene.

00:22And at that point, I was like, it was a career.

00:25I was like, I'm making more than a doctor

00:27or a lawyer would make in a day.

00:29Just to come in.

00:30All professions that you also are.

00:32Just to come in and have and be on set for three hours.

00:40When will someone break into the industry?

00:43Yeah, I had no idea either.

00:45For me, the story is I went to high school with a girl

00:50who eventually got into after high school.

00:53And she would come to my college and party.

00:55And we ended up hooking up there.

00:57And she was like, you should come to L.A.

00:59and do.

01:00You're perfect for it.

01:01At the time, I was 20.

01:02Dude, what a compliment.

01:04What an absolute beast of a compliment.

01:06Dude, you're so good.

01:07You should be.

01:09I was 20 years old.

01:10I was like, yeah, whatever.

01:11I'm going to finish school and have a career.

01:15That was my thoughts.

01:16But fast forward five years.

01:18Graduated college.

01:19Had my career.

01:21And hated it.

01:23I was in construction management

01:25and basically worked 12 hours a day, six days a week.

01:28And now you're in destruction management.

01:31And that was always in the back of my head.

01:33Her voice was like, you should come to L.A. and do.

01:36And after a year of just working my first job and hating it,

01:40I was like, OK, I don't want to do this for the rest of my life.

01:43I want to do what I want to do.

01:45So I just quit that job.

01:47I was working in Las Vegas, quit that job, moved to L.A.,

01:50started pursuing.

01:52So I just started answering ads on.

01:54Back then, I don't know if you guys have Craigslist.

01:56Yeah, we know of it, though.

01:58Yeah, they had an adult section on Craigslist, which is gone now.

02:02And sort of other websites where people listed, you know, adult work.

02:05So I started basically just working for free.

02:08There would be amateur directors that would hire a girl

02:11and they didn't want to pay a guy.

02:12So like, why would I pay a guy?

02:15Do you remember your first paycheck?

02:16A hundred dollars.

02:18Oh, I take that for first paycheck.

02:20That's what I was like.

02:21I would do it for free.

02:50And what was that moment like on set?

02:52Well, I remember going on to set and like, I hadn't chosen a name yet.

02:57The first time on set, you basically tell them what your stage name is going to be.

03:01And that's pretty much your name going forward.

03:03Yeah.

03:04So I hadn't chosen a name yet.

03:05You know, I was kind of going back and forth between a couple of them.

03:08Okay.

03:08Can you tell us what the options were?

03:11Well, Johnny Sins is, everybody thinks my real name is Johnny Sins at this point,

03:16but it's obviously not.

03:18So I got that name from...

03:20Because that would be too much of a coincidence.

03:22Like you would be made for this.

03:24If your name was Johnny Sins.

03:24Your parents would give you a choice.

03:27So one of my buddies in college, I'm not going to say his name,

03:31but his nickname was Johnny Sins.

03:33His name was very similar to it.

03:35So everybody called him Johnny Sins.

03:37And the day I met him, I was like, that's an amazing...

03:42Your friend must be really wondering where he went wrong.

03:46He actually loves it.

03:47Yeah.

03:48That I use his nickname now.

03:50He's actually a lawyer now.

03:53All right.

03:53So you were going to tell us about your first scenes or so to say.

03:56First scene was just a job scene.

03:59And very nervous, obviously.

04:01Not really know what to expect or what's going to happen.

04:06It was a very small set.

04:07So it made it very comfortable.

04:08I believe it was at all POV scenes too.

04:11So I wasn't really even in the scene.
