Today’s show concerns television in the 21st century. The transition from analogue to digital broadcasting in Russia will be completed by 2015. The first to go digital would be the border areas in the South-East. This will then be followed by the Western border regions, and finally the rest of the country. Is this the end of free TV for millions of ordinary viewers in Russia? To answer this question our guest today is Russian Communications Minister Igor Shchegolev.
