00:07So we're counting down the 10 best songs of 2024.

00:17Coming in at number 10 is No Caller ID by Megan Maroney. According to THR's music critic

00:22Mesfin Fakadu, if you haven't listened to the rising country music star yet, this is the place

00:26to start. Number nine is Fortnite by Taylor Swift, featuring Post Malone. Fakadu says,

00:37Fortnite is mellow and down-tempo, but also bold and direct, putting Swift's skilled songwriting

00:42in the driver's seat with a shining assist from Malone. Eighth on the list is Heart of a Woman

00:52by Summer Walker, who our critic says continues to lead R&B's contemporary class.

01:01This list wouldn't be complete without what many called the song of the summer,

01:05Espresso by Sabrina Carpenter. According to Fakadu, like the drink it's named after,

01:09the song is tasty and addictive. Number six is What You Know About Me by Glorilla,

01:18featuring Sexy Red. THR's critic says this year really put Glorilla on the map,

01:23proving she's not going anywhere but up.

01:30Cracking the top five is Beautiful Things by Benson Boone, which Fakadu says is more than

01:34a social media hit thanks to the rising singer's beautiful, rocking vocals and reflective songwriting.

01:40Bratz Summer ruled 2024, so it's no surprise that Charli XCX is on this

01:47list with her electronic bop, 360. Tinashe comes in at number three with Nasty,

01:57which our critic calls a slick track that forces your bones to dance.

02:01Beyonce is number two on the list with her Cowboy Carter track,

02:10Too Most Wanted, featuring Miley Cyrus. Fakadu calls the song a remarkable duet,

02:14full of country, rock and pop elements.

02:21And finally, number one is Not Like Us by Kendrick Lamar. While the song might have

02:26started off as a Drake diss track, THR's music critic says it evolved into a worldwide prolific
