00:00Pittsburgh and Toledo, couple of seven and five teams clashing in the Game Above Sports Bowl.

00:06We have Pittsburgh as a six and a half point favorite. It was seven and a half literally

00:12when I started this sentence and it just moved on FanDuel to six and a half. A total of 50

00:17and a half here in this game. I've seen a lot of people on the favorite bit

00:21and yet some money's coming in late here on Toledo. What do you think?

00:24It makes sense. I mean, the biggest issue with Pitt now, it's hard to believe, but they started

00:30the season seven and oh, if you remember, they got a freshman quarterback, Eli Holstein. They

00:36were winning games by the skin of their teeth early on to go seven and oh, and then the injury

00:42started to kick in and then reality started to kick in and all of a sudden they finished the year

00:49the year on a losing streak. I think they lost their last four games or so, four or five games.

00:56It was not a good stretch here, but they've had plenty enough time in order to be able to heal

01:02up here and they're hoping Eli Holstein will go, but Toledo pretty much bringing the entire team,

01:09including their quarterback, Tucker Gleason, here to this bowl game and they've had a lot

01:16of success here in bowl games. I mean, Toledo, a Mac team is going to be in a spot here, I think,

01:23to upend an ACC team in Pitt. We've seen this before. I think it's at Ford Field, by the way,

01:30which won't be that hard for Toledo fans to travel to. I do think that Toledo getting those points

01:37is the right side, but this was all about, and this is the problem with bowl games, Adam.

01:43Who the hell is playing? You can't be making a bowl pick a week and a half,

01:48two weeks out from the game because you just don't know who's playing, but I'll tell you this,

01:54the bowl games we've gotten so far, including the Hawaii Bowl and Christmas Eve,

01:59I'll take that over what the NFL gave us yesterday all day long.

02:04It's true, absolutely, but you're right. The unpredictability between

02:09you know, injuries, transfer portal, sitting out, draft eligibility, hell, coaches leaving

02:15programs to take new jobs elsewhere. It's the wild, wild west when it comes to trying to figure

02:21out how to invest in these bowl games. So that one, as you said, Ford Field in Detroit. Let's

02:26go west to Chase Field in Phoenix and that is Rutgers, seven and five against eight and four,

02:32Kansas State, K-State, six and a half point favorite, total is 51 and a half. It feels like

02:39when you're talking about a game like this, usually it is the K-State talent, you know,

02:44whether it is Avery Johnson, the quarterback, you got DJ Giddens, Jace Brown as well. I mean,

02:52there's a lot of talent obviously with this team and yet talking to you during the break,

02:57you might be talking yourself into the dog.

03:01Well, it wasn't until they announced that it looks like the leading rusher for the Rutgers

03:09Scarlet Knights looks like Managi is not going to play the senior. I mean, he carried the ball 256

03:15times this year and that was even, he missed a game or two, I think due to injury and he was

03:23everything to them. Everything centered around a pretty stable rushing game, obviously set up the

03:28passing game, but it looks like they're going to have to do it without him according to Greg

03:33Shiano. But you know, Shiano with extra time has been a feisty coach in these spots as an

03:40underdog here. They're getting a touchdown and let's face it, Kansas State, oh, there's another

03:45one like Pitt, Adam, that started the season off, right? Seven and oh, we were all talking about

03:50Kansas State winning the big 12, playing for a championship, a spot in the playoffs, and then

03:56yeah, reality set in and the wheels absolutely fell off there. So still some questions about

04:03who might be going for K-State. Their coach, Kleinman, made it seem as if though all the

04:09guys that matter are going to be there in this game, which is why you haven't really seen the

04:14line move that much. At a touchdown, if it gets to seven and a half, I'm going to have no choice

04:20but the back Rutgers here because I do think this is a very even and close game when it's all said

04:26and done. That's the rate bowl. How about the 68 Ventures Bowl between seven and five Arkansas

04:34State and Bowling Green of the same record? Seven and a half's the spread, Bowling Green the favorite

04:40on FanDuel. There are some eight and a half's out there, so shop around if you do ultimately like

04:45the dog in this one, but obviously you can get just outside of that touchdown, the hook there

04:50for Bowling Green and biggest total of the day as well at 53 and a half. Yeah, listen, this is

04:56a one that A, I did actually bet this one early because when you get bowl games like this, when

05:04you're talking about like some Sunbelt teams here, and there's not a lot of attrition there. We're

05:09not talking about a lot of guys hitting the transfer portal to go to Texas. So most of these

05:14kids will be playing here that played during the season, and the reality is Bowling Green has the

05:20better defense. They have the better offense. They have the better quarterback here, and a lot of

05:25seniors on this Bowling Green team here. Neither team is on their own merits. Would I bet them

05:34or lay this number against just about anybody else, but Bowling Green much better in this spot

05:40here, I think, than Arkansas State. I love the over, and I love the quarterback for Bowling

05:46Green. I think he has a huge game. I think they rout Arkansas State in this one.
