Hello you cocktail lovers you. We're here today to learn how to make two very special cocktails.
00:05
We're actually going to learn together because I've never ever made a cocktail in my life
00:09
despite having drank absolutely loads of them. I've been served this huge box by Bacardi.
00:17
Thank you Bacardi. And inside it's apparently got loads of lovely ingredients which we're
00:22
going to use to make these two delicious cocktails. Step one, get your sharpest knife.
00:30
So yeah guys we're going to make a spritz cocktail for all you girlies and guys who
00:36
love a spritz. And we're going to make a green tea smasher. Sounds like it's healthy.
00:44
Let's see guys.
00:48
So oh you know what let's put a couple of limes in there for the start of the day.
00:54
Aromas naturales. So I'm guessing this is a lemon and lime sweet and sour concentrate.
01:04
A little bottle of Sprite.
01:05
Oh guys let's go. OMG Saint Germain. This is cray cray. Oh my gosh elderflower liqueur.
01:26
And I love elderflower you guys. I literally love it. It's such a summery drink but we're
01:31
putting it in a winter drink today because we're versatile. A bit of soda water.
01:44
Look how pretty this bottle is. Sorry can we just admire this for a second. OMG look at that
01:55
girlie. She's taking over the show. She has struck me down with her sheer beauty.
02:05
Oh arch of peach schnapps.
02:12
Join the party. Welcome. Nice to have you. Glad you could come.
02:17
Pussycat Rosie from M&S. Love you sweetheart. Everyone's favourite gal.
02:27
And what do we have here? Oh tealing whiskey. Ah tealing small batch Irish whiskey guys.
02:36
Oh she is stunning. She is stunning. Well join that party girlie. I think that's everything.
02:50
Yes it is. So without further ado let's begin. We're going to be making the spritz first.
02:57
For that we're going to need the elderflower. The gorgeous girl. She's so pretty.
03:05
And you know it too.
03:08
Rosé spritz. Sorry rosé brew. A bit of soda. And guys we need some mint leaves and I found some in
03:19
my garden. I think they're mint leaves. They're either spearmint or mint but you know what it'll
03:25
do. And we're going to add that in too. So let's begin. We'll get some ice. Once you've got the
03:32
ice in your glass we're going to. What are we going to do first? Let's have a look because
03:36
Lauren doesn't know. She doesn't know. It's now one of the essential things that you need when
03:42
you're making a cocktail is um it's a little measuring thing which I don't have. I've only
03:47
got a huge you know pyrex measuring jug. So we're gonna eyeball it. We're gonna eyeball it and we're
03:54
gonna start with 40 ml of the elderflower liqueur in this beautiful. Yeah I'm not gonna stop. Okay
04:03
what do we add in next guys? Add the mint. Oh we're gonna add the mint. Let's throw our bug-eaten
04:11
mint in there. Yummy yummy. Ding ding. We're gonna use a bottle opener. Open that. Unless you can do
04:19
it with your teeth like a cool kid. Don't recommend that. I do not. I cut a lime wedge.
04:26
And top with a lime wedge. Give it a little stir.
04:32
And you know what? There is your Saint Germain elderflower rosé spritz.
04:43
Isn't she a gorgeous beauty?
04:50
Look at the beautiful crisp refreshing pink and green colours. Absolutely gorgeous. I bet it's
04:56
gonna taste gorgeous as well. Let's try it. I've got my sticky fingers all over the glass.
04:59
It's just like a classy lady.
05:07
It's sweet. It's fruity. It's light. It's refreshing. She's a bit a bit fizzy. It's got
05:14
the minty-ness in there. This is a delicious and very simple combination. Elderflower liqueur,
05:23
pink prosecco, soda water and a bit of mint and lime. Absolutely perfect. Guys it's time to make
05:33
our second cocktail. The green tea smasher. I'm going to be keeping this very close by
05:39
to be enjoying throughout the day. And so for this one we're going to need a shaker
05:45
but I don't have one of those. What I'm going to use is this metal coffee flask which come on
05:53
you've got to commend the effort here. I said reverse tile up here. Reverse tile. You've got
05:59
to make do with what you've got sometimes. So green tea smasher. Let's show you how to make it.
06:04
We're going to need the tealing whiskey. We're going to need 40 ml of that. 30 ml of that.
06:11
Actually 40 if you're naughty. Let's crack her open. We're going to eyeball it again guys.
06:22
That's probably a bit more than 40. Whoops that was a complete accident.
06:27
Pour into the shaker. I've already got some ice in this shaker by the way.
06:32
Put that in there. We're going to put 30. So this one's so easy because it's all the same measurements.
06:39
30 whiskey, 30 ml peach schnapps, 30 ml sweet and sour and 30 ml lemon and lime soda.
06:48
Put that in there. And then you know what's next. Our favorite party girl.
06:56
Archer's peach schnapps or any peach schnapps but this one's the best.
07:05
30 ml. Definitely too much. Another accident.
07:11
Definitely absolutely accidental. And 30.
07:15
30. There we go. We're going to shake it up. Now we've got our special flask lid.
07:34
Oh look at that green. Oh it's kind of a yellowy color. Lovely yellow.
07:42
Okay guys the green tea smasher is ready. Let's give her a try. It smells incredible.
07:54
Oh my god it's so sweet. It's like fruity like a fruit salad but with the whiskey in there. It just
08:02
cuts it through. It's absolutely delicious. The peach and the lime and lemon work so well
08:09
together and your guests will love this. This is more of the sweet one with obviously the whiskey
08:14
undertones. The Saint Germain rosé spritz is so refreshing. Much lighter actually. It's got that
08:23
subtle sweetness but it's so crisp and refreshing. So if you prefer that go for this one. If you like
08:29
a nice sweet cocktail with the whiskey as a base go for this lovely lady here. Both of these are
08:35
absolutely incredible cocktails. Thank you Bacardi for sending me the lovely ingredients
08:39
to make them. Cheers to you guys. Very merry Christmas and a happy and healthy new year.
