00:00Some 6,000 former POGO workers are expected to leave the country or be deported before the year

00:06ends. Bureau of Immigration spokesperson Dana Sandoval says no extension will be given and

00:12by January they will be automatically be blacklisted if they haven't left the country

00:18by then. The BI added out of the 33,000 foreign POGO workers the visas of 21,000 have been already

00:29downgraded and many of them have voluntarily left the country. For some who already have a family

00:36here, they will be allowed to return as long as they are able to come up with the required

00:41documents and undergo the proper process in entering the country. If they have reason to

00:49come back to the Philippines, they should comply with the regulations,

00:59they should go out of the country as part of the downgrading in order to leave,

01:03and they may return if they have a legitimate reason to return to the Philippines.

01:11Because if they don't leave, if they don't comply with the regulations,

01:15they will be blacklisted, meaning they will be prevented from re-entering the Philippines.
