00:00The 8-9 matchup, a game perhaps we thought had the chance to be the closest,

00:05in fact, was not at all. 42-17, Ohio State absolutely handles Tennessee,

00:12covering as a seven-and-a-half point home favorite in Columbus. A total of 46-and-a-half,

00:17the Buckeyes almost went over by themselves. Of course, the game did go over as well. Ohio State

00:24DRS led 21 to zip at the end of the opening quarter. They scored on their opening three

00:30offensive possessions, mixed in between two drives from the Volunteers offensively, where they went

00:36three and out. It was all Ohio State on Saturday night to cap off our triple-header of CFP action.

00:44Yeah, cold-weather game, fantastic atmosphere. Neyland Stadium North,

00:48as they were trying to call it, where thousands of Volunteers fans were there,

00:52and hey boy, that party was turned out quickly, 21 to nothing at the end of the first quarter.

00:56And this is what's so maddening, you look at Ohio State, how really good and talented they are.

01:00They go on the road early in the season and lose to Oregon by a point, it happens,

01:03Oregon's the best team in the country. But the loss to Michigan, where your three touchdown

01:07favorites and how bad they look, and then can turn it around and say, you know what,

01:11let's just get back to playing winning football and winning football in style.

01:14Like on a cold game against an SEC team that you figured the SEC team was going to run the

01:18football along with you, both are going to play great defense, hopefully you can equal a victory

01:22out. 42 points, which included your quarterback, Will Howard, 24 of 29 for 311 and two touchdowns,

01:28again, in a cold-weather environment. Trayvon Henderson, 10 carries for 80 yards. You take a

01:33look at Judkins, who also scored two touchdowns, so four combined touchdowns out of your starting

01:37running backs. And then Jeremiah Smith, who might be the best wide receiver in the country,

01:41when it's all said and done, when he leaves Ohio State, surefire top 10 draft pick in the NFL,

01:45six for 103 and two touchdowns. When your stars are playing well, you're going to win football

01:49games. The same couldn't be said for the volunteers who you knew wanted to come in,

01:53play really good defense, and say Dylan Sampson might be the toughest tackle in the country.

01:58Two carries, six yards, and an injury. It was over before it started, it felt like.
