00:00The first name on the list is Drake May.

00:06What's that matchup like today?

00:07He's widely available eight out of 10 leagues.

00:11Talk to us about Drake May.

00:13Yeah.

00:14Drake May has been a better fancy performer than I think people realize, and they'll see

00:16the Bills matchup this weekend.

00:18I don't want to start him there in Superflex.

00:20I'm all going to go start this guy, just, you know, Michael Pennix or that, but you

00:24know what?

00:25At the end of the day, Drake May is getting some rushing yards and that's helping him

00:28quite a bit.

00:29Is he having prolific days?

00:31No, but he is QB 22 on the year.

00:34That being said, he did have some games where, again, he was barely playing.

00:38So if you're looking at fancy points per game average, he's actually higher than that.

00:41And he's finished as a fringy QB one the last few weeks.

00:45So going back to week 10, QB 16, QB 14, 17, 10, then the buy and then 11 last week against

00:52the Arizona Cardinals.

00:53So again, the rushing equity of Drake May and the playmaking ability is there.

00:57They need to surround him with more help.

00:59That's the thing.

01:00So if somebody had dropped Drake May chasing somebody else off the waiver wire, like Michael

01:04Pennix, I would be running to pick up Drake May and start him in my second QB spot.

01:08I think it's a really good addition there.

01:10Next week against the Chargers.

01:11Okay.

01:12A tough matchup.

01:13You know, the Chargers are always going to be feisty.

01:14We know that.

01:15But at the same time, I think Drake May is a building block where you look at the Patriots

01:19going forward and saying, all right, we got this right.

01:22Now will there be a one and done coaching situation with Drodd Mayo?

01:26I don't know.

01:28It's starting to feel a little weird.

01:29I think the expectations were a little higher.

01:30Maybe they shouldn't have been considering what this roster looked like.

01:33But I think the biggest disappointment is the way this defense is played, which is supposed

01:36to be the Drodd Mayo strong suit.

01:39And I think when coaches don't show you their strong suit going well, sometimes that gets

01:44called into question.

01:45Mike Vrabel is still floating around out there.

01:47And Mike Vrabel wants to be head coach of the New England Patriots, making no bones

01:51about it.

01:52That's where he wants to be.

01:53That's the job for him.

01:55It's whether or not we're going to get more than a year out of Drodd Mayo.

01:58We'll see.

01:59But Drake May, at least they've got the quarterback.

02:00And I think this week, again, despite the tough matchup against Buffalo, on paper, Buffalo

02:04Bill's defense can be scored upon.

02:07And Drake May, with the rushing equity, I think is a guy that can get 15 points out

02:11of this week.

02:12All right.

02:13You gave the injury update in a previous segment that Tony Pollard was going to be good to

02:18go.

02:19How does that impact Tajay Spears?

02:20He's available in about half of leagues.

02:24Well, the reason I'm looking at Spears is because if somebody did not pick him up, I

02:28want to pick him up as insurance for next week.

02:30What if that injury all of a sudden pops off again and the ankle is worse when he plays

02:34or he gets rolled again?

02:36That's very possible.

02:37So why chase Spears next week and lose him?

02:39Next week, in terms of options, he's got the Jacksonville Jaguars in the last game of the

02:44season here, in the fantasy playoffs, I should say, in the championship week.

02:48So that'd be a good start.

02:50He would be an easy RB, too, in that scenario.

02:53So if Tajay Spears is still available or somebody had him and then, well, I'm going to drop

02:57him now because Pollard's playing, I'd pick him up if you could, because if he does end

03:01up with more playing time or something happens to Pollard, well, guess what?

03:04Tajay Spears is going to be a guy you wish you had picked up.

03:06So this is, again, more about being proactive than reactive, and it costs you nothing to

03:11find out on a Sunday to just pick him up and stash him on the back end of your roster because

03:15the health of Tony Pollard and the season taking its toll.

03:17You can even get a spot here where Tony Pollard just calls it a day after this week if they

03:20lose again, and they just say, you know what?

03:22The ankles really bother me.

03:23Tajay's going to go start the rest of the year, and we'll see and evaluate what we're

03:27getting out of that because the Titans, I think, are a team in evaluation mode, like

03:30a lot of teams in the NFL.

03:32So look for Spears to be a guy also to add this week.

03:34Can you play him?

03:35Probably not, unless it's a really deep league, but if that's the case, he's probably rostered

03:39already.
