00:00The Philippine Sports Commission and the Department of Public Works and Highways

00:03are set to work together to upgrade facilities for national athletes.

00:08Part of their agreement plan is to rehabilitate the dormitory facilities

00:12at the Phil Sports Complex in Pasig, which is utilized by the national athletes for training.

00:18Repairs and modifications will also be made to the Rizal Memorial Sports Complex in Manila,

00:23starting with the retrofitting of its baseball stadium.

00:26The signing for the Memorandum of Agreement was attended by PSC Chairman Richard Backman,

00:31Executive Director Paulo Tatad, and Accounting Division Chief Attorney Eric Gene Mayores.

00:36Representing the DPWH was NCR Regional Director Engineer Loretta Malaluan,

00:42along with other officials from the department.

00:45The PSC and DPWH project will provide significant relief

00:49for all athletes and the National Sports Association.
