The bill proposing "One Nation, One Election" or simultaneous elections to both Lok Sabha and state assemblies was introduced in the Lok Sabha on Tuesday, December 17. Following its introduction, the government agreed to send it to a joint parliamentary committee (JPC) for detailed discussions.
