00:26fight for the Raiders at this point.

00:28They were missing, they were missing Mason Crosby.

00:32They're running back on her too, Sincere McCormick.

00:34It's just a shell of what they looked like at the beginning

00:36of the season and the Raiders are now challenging for one

00:39of the top three picks in the upcoming NFL draft.

00:42But the question for the Falcons at this point remains,

00:46do they eventually make a change at quarterback?

00:49I mean, Kirk Cousins still has not played well and Raheem

00:52Morris addressed that last night.

00:54He's got to play better and you know, obviously you got

00:56to go back, got to be a look at everything.

00:57But you know, he wants to play better.

00:59He's got to play better.

01:00We got to find a way to get him to play better.

01:02And obviously we'll get to work tomorrow.

01:04That's a part of our process, right?

01:05You go, you look at the tape, you review with the people

01:07that needs to be reviewed with, you know, we get all the

01:09coordinators in the room.

01:10We'll talk with everybody and we got to play better at

01:12the quarterback position.

01:13So part B to that, if he can't, are you prepared to replace

01:18him with Michael Pennix?

01:20You know, we got everybody in our roster for a reason, right?

01:22We got so much to get better at and like those things will

01:25always be discussed.

01:26That's just the nature of the beast in football.

01:28It just so heavily talked about it at the quarterback

01:30position because there's only one guy out there, you know,

01:32so like for us, man, our mentality is to find a way to

01:34win the next game.

01:35That's just a mentality that we're going to have glad to

01:37find a way to win.

01:39You know, it's never easy going on the road and winning

01:40this league and it's great to find a way, you know, certainly

01:45a lot of plays that you that you look at and you say, hey,

01:48we can be better.

01:49I can be better.

01:52So those conversations will happen certainly, but great

01:55to find a way with our defense was phenomenal the night

01:57special teams is phenomenal.

01:58Run game was strong.

02:00You know, we just didn't didn't convert enough third downs

02:04really to stay on the field and then turn some of those

02:06drives into points.

02:08By the way, I misspoke here, but I want to correct myself.

02:11I said that the Raiders started Spencer Rattler.

02:14They started Desmond Ritter, but is there a difference?

02:19I'm starting to think about is there a difference between

02:21those two quarterbacks?

02:23All right, Bears Vikings.

02:24This was the game that just crushed me watching this one

02:26and the Vikings.

02:28Yeah, I was because I was playing against all these Vikings

02:30and the Bears were just so bad yesterday until the end and

02:34the score didn't even indicate how close the game was this

02:36could have been a shutout very easily Bears couldn't get

02:38a fourth down their life was counting on it.

02:41Same thing for third down and basically Sam Darnold Aaron

02:45Jones, they kind of carved up the Bears defense.

02:48The Bears look cooked even with this new head coach interim

02:51coach Thomas Brown things are not going well.

02:53Let's hear from Sam Darnold after the game as the Vikings

02:56are now charging believe it or not toward the number one

02:59seed in the NFC, you know, I think just to be able to you

03:02know, come in it starts with, you know, ko obviously as

03:04well being able to send that message to us and we've talked

03:08about all the time.

03:08We talked about it, you know ever since really OTA is I feel

03:11like our guys have been doing such a good job of just attacking

03:14what's in front of us and we're just going to continue to

03:17do that last night.

03:18You guys actually clinched playoffs last night after the

03:21Sunday night game.

03:22Do you take a second to absorb that at all before getting

03:25back to getting ready for this one?

03:28You know, I think for us it's it truly is, you know, it's

03:32great first and foremost to be able to, you know, recognize

03:36it, you know, during the night and to be able to be with some

03:40of my teammates when that happened, you know, that's special

03:43in that moment, but to be able to wake up today and know

03:46that we have a job to do, you know, that's the best part

03:49about our team is we can we can enjoy moments like that and

03:53be mature enough to be able to come come into work today

03:55and get the job done.

03:58All right.

03:58Now the question for the upcoming week in the NFL isn't so

04:01much about the Vikings or the Bears.

04:04It's really about the Kansas City Chiefs at this point in

04:06the injury to Patrick Mahomes.

04:08It looks like there's a chance Mahomes could play this week.

04:11He has a high ankle sprain.

04:13The likelihood is the Chiefs could just shut him down for

04:16a week and then have him return Christmas Day.

04:18We will see.

04:18We'll have an update on that on tomorrow's show.

04:21Meanwhile, Mike Tomlin says that there's a chance that TJ

04:24Watt could play for the Steelers this week.

04:26He left last week's game with an injury and also they'll

04:28need George Pickens back for that offense.

04:30The Steelers just not looking the same without him.

04:33Former Steeler Deontay Johnson has an excuse to be away

04:36from the team.

04:37He is, you know, had a little bit of a checkered history

04:40here with the Ravens basically refusing to play in the game

04:44as well.

04:44I would doubt we'll see him the rest of the season and

04:46the same could be said for former first-round pick Clyde

04:48Edwards, a layer from the Kansas City Chiefs.

04:50He was released.

04:51He had suffered from PTSD over the last year or so.

04:54Hopefully gets a new opportunity to play somewhere.

04:56The biggest story in sports yesterday.

04:58Honestly comes in college football.

04:59Dave Clawson resigned as the head coach of Wake Forest.

05:03He was there 11 years.

05:05He's going to remain with the University in an advisory

05:07role working with their athletic director.

05:09They made this announcement yesterday and it basically

05:11came out of nowhere completely unexpected for the Demon

05:14Deacons. West Virginia has set aside seven and a half

05:16million dollars for Rich Rodriguez's new staff.

05:19That should be coming soon.

05:20Also some big transfer portal news for Penn State.

05:23They're going to lose one quarterback, a backup quarterback

05:26Beau Privula. James Franklin talked about the announcement

05:30yesterday.

05:30They get their starter back, but it looks like they're

05:33highly touted backup is headed to a new school.

05:36We got problems in college football and I can give you

05:44my word.

05:46Beau Privula did not want to leave our program and he did

05:51not want to leave our program until the end of the season,

05:54but the way the portal is and the timing of it and the way

06:00our team is playing and when you play the position of

06:04quarterback and there's only one spot and those spots are

06:07filling up.

06:08He felt like he was put in a no-win situation and and I

06:17agree with him and I number one, I hate for it number one

06:24most importantly for Beau Privula.

06:28I don't think it's in the best interest of the student

06:32athlete.

06:32I don't think it's in the best interest of college football,

06:36but I think that's our challenge right now, right?

06:38Who is really running college football and making the best

06:44decisions for the student athletes and for our sport as

06:48a whole.
