Chu’s Broadway adaptation, set to be released next year.

00:21The second installment of Wicked will officially be called Wicked For Good,

00:26and it's already setting fans' hearts aflutter ahead of its November 21, 2025 release.

00:31Wicked For Good is more than just a title.

00:34It is a beloved duet from the Wicked Broadway musical, a moment that defines friendship, forgiveness and change.

00:42The film's significant actress Ariana Grande shared the announcement video on her official Instagram handle recently and wrote,

00:50You will be changed. Wicked For Good. Only in theatres November 21, 2025.

00:57Through four weekends in theatres, Wicked has grossed $525 million at the global box office,

01:03including $359 million in North America itself.

01:07This is enough to become the highest-grossing Broadway film adaptation of all time.

01:13Both the parts of the films are inspired by Gregory's 1995 novel Wicked, The Life and Times of the Wicked Witch of the West.

01:21The book offers a fresh perspective on the origin story of the Wicked Witch of the West and her former friendship with Glinda, the Good Witch.
