00:00Welcome to the Unify League, A22's proposal for a new pan-European football competition.

00:07It's an open system with annual qualification based on domestic league performance.

00:12The men's Unify competition will have 96 participating clubs across 4 leagues,

00:18Star, Gold, Blue and Union.

00:22The Star League consists of 16 clubs divided into 2 groups of 8.

00:27It's the same for the Gold League, 16 clubs, 2 groups of 8.

00:32The Blue and Union leagues will each have 32 clubs split into 4 groups of 8.

00:38During the league stage, clubs play each other within their groups, home and away.

00:44That's 14 matches per club each season, 7 at home, 7 away.

00:49The top 4 clubs in each group of the Star and Gold Leagues will qualify for the knockout stage starting with the quarterfinals.

00:58In the Blue and Union leagues, it's the top 2 clubs in each group that will qualify.

01:05The quarterfinals consist of a 2-legged knockout round, home and away,

01:10with semifinals and final a single match and will be played on neutral grounds.

01:16For the Star and Gold League, the semifinals and final matches will be played across a single territory

01:22in an exciting season-end week of football finale.

01:26The winners of the knockout stage will be the Star, Gold, Blue and Union League champions.

01:33Our proposal is built around sporting merits.

01:37Clubs will qualify based upon annual performances in their domestic leagues.

01:42This guarantees that all domestic champions have a pathway to compete against Europe's best,

01:47maintaining the principles of meritocracy and inclusion.

01:51And as matches will be played mid-week, this format is completely compatible with domestic leagues.
