00:24has presented the Bill No. 129 of the Constitution for One Nation, One Election in the Lok Sabha.

00:32It has been accepted by the Lok Sabha.

00:34After this, Law Minister Arjun Ram Meghwal has sent it to the JPC.

00:38Prior to this, 220 members of the opposition party and 150 members of the opposition party

00:44voted for the bill through electronic voting.

00:47After this, the opposition party was given a ballot.

00:51There were 279 votes in favor of the bill and 198 votes against it.

02:13On September 2, 2023, a committee was formed to discuss the One Nation, One Election Bill.

02:22The committee submitted its report to President Draupadi Murmu on March 14, 2024.

02:32To implement the One Nation, One Election Bill,

02:35a new section will be added to the Constitution and three sections will be amended.

02:43The government wants to make a general agreement on this issue.
