The United Kingdom is the first country to join the CPTPP trade bloc, one of the biggest economic agreements in the world.

00:07It's the first new nation to join the CPTPP and the first European member.
00:12The trade bloc is one of the biggest in the world, accounting for over 13% of global trade.
00:18British officials expect access to this shared market will add 2.5 billion U.S. dollars to
00:24annual GDP.
00:26Iran has applied to become a member as well, and talks are still ongoing.
