Mum in shock after coming downstairs on Christmas morning to find her children had opened ALL the Christmas presents before she woke up

A mum says she spent a whole YEAR giving her cheeky kids a talking to - after they opened all their presents without her at 5am on Christmas morning.

Sarah Hinchcliffe, now 28, woke up on December 25, 2020 to find Mitzie and Preston, three and four at the time, already downstairs.

The duo had crept out of bed and opened all of their presents while their mum and sibling Alfie, also three, slept.

Sarah says she woke up at 5am after just three hours of sleep to noises - and her "stomach dropped".

She said: "It was a nightmare. I hadn’t gone to sleep until two. I was fast asleep and didn’t hear a thing!"

Sarah, a stay-at-home mum from New Milton, Hants., says she laughs about the ordeal now - but she was shocked at the time.
