00:04that the government will help the Filipinos

00:07whatever their position in the face of the wide-ranging change in the immigration policy under the Trump administration.

00:14In his statement, which was made by the team from December 10 to 11

00:19to discuss the issues, particularly the immigration,

00:25In a statement issued yesterday, the Philippine Embassy and the Consulate General

00:31reaffirmed their collective commitment to support and provide consular assistance to the Filipinos

00:37while passing the laws of the United States.

00:40They, along with recognizing the right of the U.S. to enforce its own laws,

00:46the Philippine Embassy and the Consulate General will also consider their cooperation

00:52to promote the protection of the rights of the Filipinos living in the United States

00:58and to protect their security and well-being.
