Jamie Foxx was living it up as the ultimate birthday boy, celebrating his big day and spilling the tea on why this one hit differently for him!

00:00Okay moving on to Jamie Foxx and of course everyone's talking about his

00:04Netflix special which dropped this week where he finally revealed that what had

00:10happened to him back when he had was hospitalized a year and a half ago was a

00:15brain bleed that led to a stroke. So after all the success of this special

00:21it's been Golden Globe nominated he was out last night celebrating, celebrating

00:26his birthday and he was as grateful as you would think. He was there surrounded

00:32by a bunch of friends Vivek A Foxx, Anthony Anderson, Halle Bailey. Big

00:39gathering at Mr. Chow. As he was leaving we spoke to him about being here to

00:44celebrate this birthday what it meant to him. How did it feel you know being back

00:47on stage? I thank the fans man what a blessed time to be on stage.

00:56It's just amazing man to have gone through something so crazy but to get back on

01:02make some chuckles and let people know what's up. How did you how did you get to

01:07a place where you were able to talk about it on stage? George Carlin, Richard

01:14Pryor. Are you spending the holidays Jimmy? Man with the family man. How has it been celebrating your

01:24birthday this year? Man it's beautiful because I didn't know if I was gonna be

01:28able to celebrate it. I gotta say if you haven't seen the special it is really

01:32they're moments very emotional. Right and you could just imagine him being so

01:35happy to celebrate this birthday because like he said at the end of that sound he

01:39didn't know if he was going to be alive to not only celebrate a birthday but to

01:42be able healthy enough to get back on stage and do what he loves acting stand

01:47up comedy so for him to be in such great and it's such a good position in life

01:52now going through what he went through I think he's just going to go going forward

01:56is going to live literally every moment like it's his last. It's really exciting

02:02to see Jamie Foxx out and about being healthy when he had that health scare I

02:06think as a black community we all held our breath for a second we were so

02:09nervous but to see him make a full recovery feels like a tiny little

02:11miracle and it was great to be able to show him his flowers and his appreciation

02:15while he's still here and I hope he felt that love and the support from his fans.

02:18You can tell in the special he could feel it the audience was with him the

02:23whole time. It had everything, the laughs. And the fact that he worked in laughs too

02:28is a credit to his talent.
