00:00The Eagles are riding high, they have a legitimate chance to actually win this division which

00:07looks like they will do possibly this weekend or if it's not the next weekend, right into

00:11the playoffs at a minimum of a number two seed.

00:15But now in Philadelphia it goes from, hey guys, you won nine straight games to Jalen

00:20Hurts makes a lot of money.

00:22That passing game doesn't look great and I preface by saying this Dubsy, when I watch

00:27The passing game isn't there, but nobody wants to see the passing game right now because

00:31every time you hand the football to Saquon Barker, it looks like you're about to get

00:34an absolute ESPN SportsCenter top 10 play every time and we love to see it.

00:40But Jalen Hurts hasn't been all that he's cracked up to be and also just looking at

00:44his last five games, 165 passing yards a game.

00:48You take a look at six passing touchdowns to one interceptions.

00:52That's fantastic.

00:53But you gotta be throwing for it.

00:54You win by throwing the football, particularly in the playoffs.

00:58So the buy or sell question to you is Eagle fans should be worried about Jalen Hurts.

01:06Buy, absolutely.

01:08The numbers are telling us everything we need to know.

01:10The passing game, Jalen Hurts has not been good enough from the star quarterback with

01:15the Philadelphia Eagles.

01:17The run has been tremendous, but eventually you can only funnel it through Saquon Barkley

01:21for so long before he gets shut down.

01:24It's just a matter of stuffing the box and bringing that run game to an alarming hold.

01:29That's what we have seen for Jalen Hurts.

01:31Obviously this team, the DNA has suddenly become all about that rushing attack and you've

01:35got to lean on the hot hand.

01:37You're getting that with Saquon Barkley.

01:39It continues to work, but they certainly need to address this, I guess, lack of chemistry,

01:45that spark.

01:46I mean, Jalen Hurts, the numbers aren't fantastic.

01:49He's probably had more rushing yards.

01:51I believe he's had 50 carries over the last five games.

01:54So if it's not Saquon running it down the field, suddenly you've got Jalen Hurts trying

01:58to get it across the sticks there as well.

02:01What's going to get that spark going again?

02:03They've certainly looked a lot better.

02:04Jalen Hurts has looked a lot better with that no huddle, trying to play that hurry up offense,

02:09just trying to get it going where it's more about, I guess, reading what's in front of

02:13him instead of going back to that playbook and trying to digest the instructions coming

02:19there from the sidelines.

02:20So, yes, I think there should be cause for concern.

02:22The quarterback play has not been good enough to take this team for a run through the playoffs

02:27through the postseason.

02:28They're going to get a much tougher assignment waiting for them.

02:31So Jalen Hurts, he has to be better.

02:32I think Nick Sirianni has to get him in that passing game involved a little earlier, even

02:37if it means maybe taking things away from Saquon Barkley and get off to a slower start.

02:42You need these wide receivers buying in.

02:44We've seen AJ Brown.

02:45He's given all the smoke.

02:47You've got Alphas in this locker room, Donnie.

02:50They all want to feel like they're contributing to the success that we've seen for the Philadelphia

02:54Eagles.

02:55And right now, it has been a one-man marching band in the form of Saquon Barkley.

02:59They need to address the passing game.
