29:17Only Php 1.5 billion was used in the fund, so the buffer stock is lacking by 84.16%.

29:24It is possible that the NFA was not able to buy

29:27because the farmers chose to sell to traders at higher prices.

29:30But SINAG said that there are many places in the country where it is cheap to buy from traders.

29:36They should intervene in those places where it is cheap to buy from our farmers.

29:41If the NFA does that, traders will not be able to sell their rice.

29:46It's like price support.

29:48It's like the agency is just reminding them to buy when the trader prices go below.

29:52The NFA said that the reason for the low price of NFA procurement

29:55is the intense competition and aggressive buying of private traders,

30:00a problem in the quality of the rice produced,

30:03and a high price of rice due to a lack of supply, high demand,

30:07and the export ban of India to non-Basmati rice.

30:10The NFA will also follow COA's recommendation

30:13and continue their efforts to maintain the needed 300,000 metric tons of buffer stock of rice.

33:16According to the PAG-COR, the government will lose around Php20 billion

33:20if Pogos are completely banned in the country.

33:22But according to the National Economic and Development Authority in Pulong earlier,

33:25it is less than half of 1% of the GDP

33:29and it is not expected to have a big impact on the economy.
