Gripping aftermath of Storm Darragh shows wrecked backyard on Barry Island

Karla's backyard stood no chance as Storm Darragh wreaked havoc in Wales.

This video shows the messy aftermath of the storm, which left the filmer's backyard in absolute shambles.

From the flipped-over trash bin to the wrecked trampoline and damaged fence, it's clear that Darragh showed no mercy.

"That's okay, as I didn't want my fence anyway," Karla joked, trying to stay optimistic during such a grim time.

It was reported that the heavy rains and intense winds from Storm Darragh left thousands of homes without power.
