Britney Spears' mom, Lynne Spears, landed in L.A for the holidays -- but whether a mother-daughter reunion is on the agenda is still up in the air.

00:00To Britney Spears and what some people are hoping it's going to be a holiday reunion for her.

00:05After last week when Britney was going to Mexico to celebrate her birthday,

00:10there were a lot of people who were concerned when she posted that video

00:14saying that she was five years old and that she was on her way to kindergarten.

00:19Yes.

00:19Elton said she was moving to Mexico as she was celebrating her 43rd birthday.

00:25A lot of concerns and so the sight of Lynn Spears in LA made everyone think

00:32mom's coming to the rescue. Here's what Lynn had to say at LAX. As soon as the photographers

00:37spotted her, everyone wanted to know how Britney's doing and are they going to see each other.

00:42I just have a few questions about Britney moving to Mexico. Are you going to go out there to visit

00:48her? Are you going to spend, are you going to be spending Christmas with Britney at all?

00:55This has become, Lynn knows this now, this is the routine. When she gets to LAX,

00:59it's very rare that she comes in and paparazzi don't see her but she is always tight-lipped,

01:05not saying a thing. It is possible she's here just to visit Britney's brother because we've

01:10seen that before. Yeah, I mean that's the thing is Brian lives here in town and she's been known

01:15over the years to stay with Brian. There was in May 2023 a time when Lynn and Britney had

01:21some kind of reconciliation. We had gotten photos. They had spent time together at Britney's

01:27manager's house, Cade Hudson. There was photographs of that at the time well over a year ago. We also

01:34know recently that Britney and Brian have, you know, kind of reconciled and that Britney was

01:41kind of leaning on Brian there for a while. For a while Brian was living with her, right? Right,

01:45he was living with her. We knew that from sources. So, you know, it's kind of an always an up and

01:50down situation with Britney. Her family kind of comes and goes in her life. I think you hope

01:55that they're going to see each other. I can't see how it's a bad thing that Lynn is in her

02:00daughter's life, especially when we know she doesn't have a huge support system right now.
