Speaking exclusively to Bang Showbiz at Capital's Jingle Bell Ball with Barclaycard, Craig David reveals his top advice for new artists.

00:00What advice would you have to up-and-coming artists?

00:04Do you know the one thing that's that served me really well is

00:07is performing, being out and performing live in front of crowds

00:11because there's one thing about creating your songs

00:14and I think there's so many talented people who can create music

00:17when you're in your safe space

00:19but when you go out and you get to perform

00:21it's just a different world

00:22and I feel like that's really served me well

00:24that I was DJing before my kind of rise to fame with Born To Do It

00:29so when I saw a crowd in front of me it was like

00:31ah, okay, I know this

00:32and I feel that's one thing I always say to any new aspiring artist

00:36try and be comfortable with crowds early on

00:38because if you have a big hit all of a sudden

00:40and then they throw you on stage at the Jingle Bell Ball

00:42in front of 16,000 people

00:44that's a big one that some people can rise and fall to
