00:14Well, I tell them that high school was a blast.

00:18I dated this hot girl, Kelly,

00:19although she ended up hooking up with my friend, AC.

00:22Then my friend, Jesse, started abusing caffeine pills.

00:26Oh wait, that's not my high school.

00:27That's actually Saved by the Bell.

00:31Nothing can change a mood faster

00:32than hearing that theme song from your favorite show.

00:37But for every kid in the 90s,

00:38it was hearing that iconic school bell

00:40from the living room TV.

00:53That was literally part of my everyday life.

00:57And he wasn't alone.

01:05and audiences couldn't get enough of these high schoolers.

01:10You had Zack Morris.

01:11Time to rock and roll, let the party begin.

01:14And he was just the man, he was cool.

01:17Mark Paul Gosler played Zack Morris.

01:19He was charming, he was a lazy man,

01:22he got into a lot of mischief.

01:23Zack Morris was kind of like a not nice person.

01:28But his hair was amazing.

01:30But before Zack and the gang were partying at Bayside,

01:33they were somewhere in Indiana

01:35on a series called Good Morning, Miss Bliss.

01:38Started out as Zack, they kept Screech,

01:44in the students' lives.

01:45And then those characters carried over

01:46into Saved by the Bell.

01:47It was one of those wacky 90s transitions

03:27But Saved by the Bell wasn't just crushes

03:29and character flaws.

03:31The series was also known for dealing

03:34I do remember Jessie had a drug problem one time.

04:03But unlike our other discontinued items,

04:05everyone wanted more.

04:07So the network gave us more.

04:09But then they had Saved by the Bell, the New Class,

04:11which lasted seven seasons.

04:13Then in 2020, Peacock rebooted Saved by the Bell.

04:16We're back!

04:17But the nostalgia wasn't enough.

04:19Saved by the Bell was discontinued for real.

04:22Looks like the king is dead!

04:25So in the end, Saved by the Bell

04:26was too much of a good thing.

04:28And after 30 years, America finally tapped out.
