Postecoglou laments Spurs' 'self-inflicted' woes

Ange Postecoglou described his Tottenham side's 4-3 loss against Chelsea as a 'painful one'.

00:06not just the goals we scored, the way we were playing, really in control of the game.

00:10We had some really good opportunities apart from two goals.

00:15Then you lose Christian after the second goal, which is just the way our season's gone.

00:19Nothing sort of runs smoothly.

00:21They obviously capitalised on it.

00:25By the time we sort of settled back down, they scored.

00:27Still felt in the first half we had the better moments to get a third goal, a couple of key ones.

00:33The second half they came out and obviously put us under a bit of pressure,

00:38but I felt we were handling it not too badly.

00:41When they score, we then have a big moment to go 3-2 up.

00:46In these kind of games, those kind of moments are important.

00:53We don't take it.

00:55Both penalties were poor on our behalf.

00:57It's kind of self-inflicted, unnecessary challenges,

01:04and give yourself a mountain to climb, which proved too hard.
